DJ CY is a DJ, Music Producer, Concert Producer, & Event Promoter. DJ CY started his music career as a guitar player & sound engineer for a local Los Angeles band in his teenage years and early 20's.
In 1998, he switched gears to become a full time DJ, promoting and spinning for many events & parties in Koreatown (Los Angeles), Downtown LA, Hollywood, Las Vegas, and Korea. During his early career, DJ CY collaborated with many local friends, sharing his musical talents and ideas. Many of these friends are currently artists and producers in the K-Pop music industry. Some of these long-time friends include Tony from "H.O.T.", Eric & Andy from "Shinhwa", Danny from "A4", Chris from "S#arp", and as well as other artists. DJ CY has produced and toured with Lil' Jon, Flo Rida, Boyz II Men, Frankie J, Jay Sean, LeeSsang, MC Mong and many artists from different music genre in the US & Korea to share his love and passion for music.
In 2013, DJ CY launched Moonstone DJs Academy to give educations and mentoring upcoming DJs in Los Angeles (Moonstone DJs Academy, 3388 W. 8Th St. Suite 208, Los Angeles, CA 90005).
DJ CY also currently works as Co-Founder of Moonstone Management Korea & USA, producing concerts, events, parties, managing DJs as well as other entertainment industry related works.
